Thursday we went to the opening day for the State Fair. Went for a couple of reasons. One was that it only cost $2 to get in, rather than the usual cost of $8. The other was because Jimmy's den leader suggested going since they have a little fishing pond there and will teach you how to fish. Since we haven't ever taken Jimmy fishing, we thought that would be a good thing to do. Unfortunately, we didn't find where to go for that until it was closed. I think the next time we go (which probably won't be until next year), we will need to plan to go earlier in the day.
Jimmy, Emma and Molly are still telling me how they had fun going there. Molly was asking me today if she can ride the "horsey ride" again. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the fair.
These pictures were all taken at a "little hands farm" or something like that. It was probably their favorite part of the fair. They went through various parts of farming and at the end were able to "buy" a treat.
The reason we don't have a picture of Jimmy on the merry-go-round is because he didn't want to ride it. He went on a different ride. Wanted to get a picture of him on the other ride, but he was too fast going on it.
